This week was the last of the first cycle of 4 with 4 weeks of training each, being the last week of each cycle the week of "recovery", but in the end this week I made my first simulation run, last Saturday. I've focused a lot of swimming, doing workouts and volume series for just over 6,000 m (approximately a couple of hours of training). Arms weigh a lot and it shows the difference when I swim after to run or bike.
This all said about the simulation run, doing 100km in the morning after the 20km bike Lausanne. I'm happy and I feel the improvement of the coaches made but not stop thinking about what it costs me to assimilate the volume that I do.
This week I begin a new cycle of trained, motivated and convinced that I am on the right path ... I!
