Another accident in the rotunda of Cáceres Junquillo causes five wounded, two of them seriously


Five people have been injured in a mild accident in Cáceres, consisting of the output path of a car on the road N-521, into the city.

The DYA in Extremadura yesterday established an emergency device with 4 vehicles coordinated by the Centre of Emergency 112, Extremadura, due to the impressive storm that took place the evening of the day 16 September in the capital of Cáceres. That storm turned the city into chaos in just 15 minutes, with many roads flooded and impassable water, trapped in their cars, trees torn, cut power lines, general fear by the population (especially in the elderly) and 2-3 cm hail who even perforate shutters of the houses.

In this situation, since the DYA was decided to mobilize a total of 3 basic life support ambulances, along with a field hospital and their respective envelopes, which had to meet various emergencies after 20:30 pm in the afternoon in the city. DYA volunteers also assisted in the removal of numerous trees down, blocking the main roads of the city causing traffic chaos genuine.
